Format: Single Elimination

Our Monday Night Tournaments run on a pure, cutthroat Single Elimination Bracket format. You will be matched with a partner and face off against opposing teams in a classic bracket structure.

Classic Euchre Rules Apply

We play by the standard competitive rules of Euchre (first to 10 points wins the match), but with a few strictly enforced tournament-level rules:

Stick the Dealer is ENFORCED

To ensure aggressive, fast-paced tournament play, we always play Stick the Dealer. If all players pass on the first round (ordering up the flipped card) and all players pass again on the second round (calling a suit), the dealer MUST call a trump suit. There are no misdeals or throwing the cards in.

Going Alone (Loners)

A player may choose to play without their partner ("Going Alone"). Winning all 5 tricks as a loner scores 4 points. Winning 3 or 4 tricks scores 1 point. But be careful: getting Euchred while going alone gives the defending team 2 points.
