What is a Euchre Points Tournament?

Unlike a single-elimination bracket, a Points Tournament allows you to play a guaranteed number of rounds. You accumulate points across all the matches you play.

How do you win a Points Tournament?

At the end of all the guaranteed rounds, the players with the highest total accumulated points on the leaderboard win a share of the dynamic prize pool.

Do you still play Stick the Dealer?

Yes, to ensure matches are aggressive and finish in a timely manner, 'Stick the Dealer' is enforced in all Euchre Masters tournament formats.

Format: Guaranteed Multi-Round Play

Our Wednesday Night Points Tournaments offer a completely different experience than our single elimination bracket. In this format, you are never eliminated early. Instead, you play a set number of guaranteed rounds (typically 4 or 5) and hands (typically 8), accumulate points based on your performance.

No Early Knockouts: Even if you lose a match, you still advance to the next round to continue scoring points.
Match Rotation: You will face different opponents in every round, giving you a fresh challenge every time you sit at the table.

How Scoring Works

Your performance in every single hand matters.

Accumulation: Every point your team scores in a match gets added to your total tournament score on the live leaderboard.
Margin of Victory: If you beat a team 10 to 2, you walk away with 10 points. If you lose a match 10 to 8, you still get to take those hard-earned 8 points with you onto the leaderboard. Every single point counts!

Stick the Dealer is ENFORCED

To ensure aggressive, fast-paced tournament play and to prevent rounds from dragging out, we always play Stick the Dealer. If all players pass on the first and second rounds of bidding, the dealer MUST call a trump suit.

Tournament Details & Dynamic Payouts

Because nobody gets eliminated early, the Points Tournament prize pool structure is designed to reward the top consistent performers:

Entry Fee: 25 Freekz (FZ) per player.
Dynamic Prize Pool: The total prize pool scales dynamically based on the number of registered players. The more players that join, the larger the payout pool becomes!
Leaderboard Payouts: At the end of all the guaranteed rounds, the top players on the final leaderboard win a share of the grand prize pool. Even finishing in 2nd or 3rd place can net you a massive euchre cash reward.
